"These Foolish Things"

Washington, D.C. - The WPGC Good Guys celebrate April Fool's Day (Friday, April 1st) with some programming "switcheroos" that include playing "The Bottom 40" as compared to Top 40 records usually heard.

The "Bottom 40" records described as "The Bombs Of The Year" will be featured starting at 6AM sign-on through the entire day on WPGC AM and FM. A special "Fantastic Five" broadcast, a conglomeration of the five worst records of the year, will be heard from 6:15 to 6:45PM. A local drive in theater (the Ranch) will sponsor this segment to promote its "Stinkarama" - showing of the four worst movies of the year. Names of the movies will not be announced.

In addition to "The Bottom Forty", April Fools Day promises to be a full day of surprises to listeners with unusual programs and unseasonal features.
