Note: By 1964, the Milt Grant Network, which originally consisted of WPGC, WINX, WEEL and WAVA had dissolved to simply the latter, due no doubt to increasing competitive pressures, particularly acute with WPGC and WINX being so close together on the dial at 1580 and 1600 respectively. Likewise, WAVA in Northern Virgina could not have been happy with having the identical show on at the same time on WEEL.

Effective with the June 6th, 1964 edition, the Evening Star now credited WAVA as the only station carrying his weekend show which aired Saturdays & Sundays from 1-4PM and where it would continue to air until May 1st, 1965, preceding that station's change in format to all news.

Chart Notes: 'Love Me Do' (which would go on to be the #13 song of the year on the WPGC Top 100 of 1964) drops two at WPGC from #2 - #4 this week while 'P.S. I Love You' also falls a couple of notches from #6 - #8. Meanwhile, the Lennon & McCartney penned, 'A World Without Love' by Peter & Gordon slips two from #3 - #5.

Elsewhere on the dial, 'Love Me Do' stays' at #5 this week at Milt Grant's Network / WAVA, falls from #2 - #8 at WWDC but rises from #4 - #2 at WHMC.

'P.S. I Love You' jumps up from #9 - #6 at WEAM and plummets from #1 last week out of the Top Ten this week at WEEL.

Ironically, the strongest Lennon & McCartney tune is 'A World Without Love' which moves from #3 - #2 at WEAM, falls from #1 - #2 at Milt Grant's Network / WAVA, drops out of the Top Ten from #3 last week at WEEL, falls from #1 - #3 at WWDC and takes the #1 spot up from #2 last week at WHMC.

Another song Lennon & McCartney gave away to Billy J. Kramer & The Dakotas, 'Bad To Me' falls out of the Top Ten from #9 last week at WHMC.
