Chart Notes: The Beatles take three of the top four spots at WPGC with 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' and 'She Loves You' remaining at #1 & #2 respectively (both of which would go on to be the #1 and #2 songs of the year respectively on the WPGC Top 100 of 1964) and are joined at #4 this week by 'Please, Please Me' (which itself ends the year at #4 on the WPGC Top 100 of 1964).

'I Want To Hold Your Hand' also 'holds' the pinnacle on Milt Grant's Network, WEEL, WDON, WWDC, WEAM and WINX, the latter two finally succumbing to Beatlemania with a tune by the Fab Four first appearing in the Top Ten. Meanwhile, 'She Loves You' also enjoys exposure at #3 on WWDC, #3 at WEEL (which is also playing 'Please, Please Me' at #7) and #2 on Milt Grant's Network.

Of particular interest is this week's 'Predicted Hit' on WWDC, a novelty record about the Beatles, 'My Boyfriend Got A Beatle Haircut' by Donna Lynn. The song released by Capitol Records itself would peak nationally at #83 on 02/22/64. Her follow up single, 'I Had A Dream I Was A Beatle' failed to chart nationally.
