WPGC - Liz Kiley in 1979

Early in 1979

Liz got her start at WLAV-AM in Grand Rapids, MI. In the Summer of 1977, she was hired by Dan Mason for overnights. In February of 1979 she made history when the late Rick Sklar hired her as the first female personality at WABC in New York.

A native of the Big Apple, her next stop was to program WIFI in Philly, then off to KOST in LA where she was Asst. PD and the first host of 'Love Songs'. Her next programming stop was at KKBT, The Beat in LA. Soon afterward she was promoted to Vice President / Operations & Programming for Evergreen Media Corporation.

In 1994 she took a postion with The Box Music Network and later went on to various positions with CMT, MTV and MTV2. Today, she is the Vice President of Programming, Global Streaming at Universal Music Group in Nashville.
