PRETTYMAN
PGC STA. MGR! D.C AGENCIES BREATHE SIGH OF RELIEF!
Agency
principles throughout the Greater Washington area are
breathing huge sighs of relief these days since Bill
Prettyman has been promoted to Station Manager. One
major agency buyer remarked that since Prettyman has
been off the street, the agency's phone bills have dropped
dramatically due to the removal of the "Prettyman
Phone" in their reception area. (continued on page

PGC
PD BIGGIE!
(Washington)
Jim Collins, WPGC's Program director & resident
Boy Wonder, is shown presenting a platinum record to
Capital Records artist Helen Reddy for her Multi-million
dollar smash album "Helen Reddy's Greatest Hits".
After presenting the record to Ms. Reddy on NBC's "Midnight
Special", Collins was heard to say "Where
am I...What's going on here...what was that funny looking
camera for?" Well you see, Jim, it's a new invention
called TV. Kind of a radio with pictures. Some people
are predicting that it might be big someday.
