Chart Notes: The Beatles newest offering, 'A Hard Day's Night' (and which ends the year at #7 on the WPGC Top 100 of 1964), skyrockets to the top and debuts at #1 this week at WPGC, while 'Tell Me Why', also from the film debuts in the Top Ten at #9 (despite the typesetting error listing it as 'Ask Me Why', not to be confused with Bobby Vinton's completely different record by the same name).

'A Hard Day's Night' also continues to permeate the Top Ten elsewhere, staying at #1 at WEEL, moves from 'Predicted Hit' status at WAVA to #10, debuts as a 'Predicted Hit' at WEAM.

Lennon & McCartney's song writing credits for other artists include 'A World Without Love' for 'Peter & Gordon' which falls out of the Top Ten from #7 the previous week at WINX while 'Bad To Me' by Billy J. Kramer with the Dakotas moves from #9 - #6 at WEAM and 'I'll Keep You Satisfied' also by Billy J. Kramer with the Dakotas is this week's 'Predicted Hit' at WEEL.
