Jeff did mornings with David Burd as 'Baker & Burd' in 1983-84.

Jeff writes:

After working with David at WASH for 6 years, I left fulltime radio, now working as an actor, and freelance voiceover talent. Do most of my acting work onstage, in DC and in New York.

Around DC, I've worked at Shakespeare Theatre, Studio Second Stage, Washington Stage Guild, The Folger, RepStage, Washington Shakespeare Company and a few others. In New York, I most recently worked in a production of Richard II.

On national television, I've appeared on "Homicide,"and "America's Most Wanted." Voiceover credits are pretty extensive, including The Discovery Channel, and The Learning Channel. Few film credits, too. Just wrapped work on "Swimmers." Acting was always a passion of mine, and it's nice to be able to make money doing it.

As far as radio goes these days, I have a "day job" working as Production Director for Salem Communications at WAVA. Great people, great gig. I don't miss being on the air. Not at all. It was a nice run, but it was time to move on.
